We are open long hours, and if one site is not open at a time convenient to you, you can opt to attend a different site.

Postnatal and Baby Checks

6 to 8 weeks after the birth of your baby it is important that you have a check-up with your doctor. This is an opportunity to discuss any concerns or worries that you may have about yourself or your baby. We also need to check on baby's progress and discuss the childhood immunisation programme. Appointments can be made at reception or by phoning 01204 463444.

If one of our services is not available at the site you normally attend, you may attend another site. Please ask at reception for the full range of services available and how you can access these services.

We are also a member practice of the GP Federation and our patients can also access evening and weekend appointments at the federation currently from either Halliwell or Deane Health Centre's. Our Friendly reception team are able to book an appointment for you.

Mental Health

We have 2 Mental Health Practitioners offering one session per week across all the surgeries. They are trained to deal with patients needing help with depression for the first time and those with a new onset of a mental health condition, or with patients feeling suicidal. The Practitioners have spent time with the reception staff explaining what they can deal with.

If you feel depressed and haven’t been treated for that in the past, please do contact reception to book an appointment. Don’t be afraid to tell the receptionist why you want the appointment as this helps them to make the correct appointment for you and make sure you are seen as soon as possible.

We have Ed and James Musculoskeletal Practitioners, ( MSK), again  who will be working across the neighbourhoods providing first contact appointments for those patients, with a new onset of a musculoskeletal problem such as, a patient has been doing some heavy gardening and pulled their back, these types of problems can be booked in with our MSK Practitioners.
