Test Results

Test Results

In order to find out your test results please phone our main reception number: 01204 463444.

We will normally contact you if you need to come in to discuss your results so it is important that we have your correct contact details. Please contact us if you are unsure that the information we have for you is up to date.

If you require a detailed explanation of your results you will be placed on our list for telephone advice and a nurse or pharmacist will call you back to discuss your results and any suggested course of action. If you need to make an appointment to see a clinician we will book you an appointment for this, alternatively we may be able to book you in for a telephone consultation.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.

Please allow 3-4 working days after you have given a sample into the surgery before contacting us to find out results. This allows us to make sure that we have received all of your results and that they have all been looked at by a clinician. Please be aware that some tests are sent to external laboratories and can take longer to come back to the surgery. It can take 3-4 weeks for certain tests to come back.
