GM Primary Care Summit

Was held on 10th June 2015 at the AJ Bell Stadium (Salford Reds), Manchester.

The event was arranged for any organisations that were interested in new models of care and innovative practice. It was delivered in a dynamic learning environment, the event offered delegates the opportunity to explore alternative models of care and local work to transform primary care across Greater Manchester. An interactive market place was setup for delegates to hear more about how health and social care colleagues are transforming primary care locally. The summit provided a great opportunity for sharing and wideing engagement across Greater Manchester.

This year’s key note speaker was Sir Sam Everington who helped to lead national work on primary care-driven care models & service redesign. Dr Everington is a senior GP in Tower Hamlets, a CCG Chair, board member of NHS Clinical Commissioners, trustee of the Kings Fund and a member of the BMA council.
